Every assessment, valuation, scheme and property address in the interactive demo is fictional. References begin with DEMO. Familiar city names provide context, but the figures do not represent actual properties or VOA records. This is a curated illustration, not a national search service or the current Rating List.

Integrated product previews

The landing page contains native, interactive feature previews rather than screenshots. All displayed properties, clients and calculations are fictional examples. Controls change only the local presentation; they do not change records in the separate demo or the full application. Liability examples use the invented factor 0.50 for three years, not actual multipliers or rates bills. The previews demonstrate the workflow, not an available paid service.

What this website does

You can search and filter samples, compare the 2023 and 2026 figures, view simplified valuation lines, compare sample scheme members, model a proposed RV, save a watchlist and export a CSV. Client Hub contains two preloaded fictional clients, illustrative liabilities for both lists and watermarked Check/Challenge previews. You can also simulate Check and Challenge submissions, inspect illustrative planning dates and explore an instruction-based fee forecast with editable RV, fee percentage and fee share. Calculations are deterministic and run in the browser.

What it does not do

It does not submit Checks or Challenges, estimate your actual rates bill, provide valuation or legal advice, process payments, or offer a secure client workspace. Percentage change is a prompt for investigation, not proof that a property is incorrectly assessed. No live AI/API calls are made.

Your data

No login, contact form, file upload or free-text client-information field is provided. Select only from fictional clients and properties. Search queries, scenario values and fictional appeal/fee edits stay in the page and reset on refresh. Appeal references are visibly marked DEMO; nothing is sent to an authority. Planning dates use illustrative +12/+18 month assumptions, not legal deadline rules. Fee examples use a fictional factor of 0.50 over three years, not actual rates liabilities. If you save a property, its fictional DEMO reference is stored in local browser storage under rating-radar-public-demo:v1. This does not sync across devices. Remove saved properties using their Saved buttons, or clear this site's browser data.

No application analytics or advertising trackers are added. Our static hosting provider, Cloudflare, receives ordinary requests for website files and may process IP addresses and service logs to deliver and protect the website. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

The broader project

The separate local Rating Radar application works with published rating data using Python, FastAPI and DuckDB. This public demo was written separately, with no employer systems, private client records, credentials or document templates. It is not an employer-endorsed service.

Built with AI, not powered by paid AI calls

AI coding assistance helped implement the product. The deployed demo itself is ordinary HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It does not send property searches or browser state to an AI model.
